Freedom Is an Inside Job

with Tara Brach, Zainab Salbi, Amber Ryan & Antoinette Klatzky
Join US for A Day of inspiration & insights

We are bringing women together from coast to coast and around the world for an event people are describing as “empowering, uplifting, inspiring.”

“A life-changing event.”
—Susan O., New York

Women Together allows us to experience firsthand — online and in person — the powerful collective energy that emerges when we forge deep personal connections with one another.

I rushed here feeling stressed and worried.
I left feeling energized, optimistic, grateful, and healed.
—Mary D., New York

We will be joined by internationally known meditation teacher and best-selling author of Radical Acceptance, Tara Brach, along with activist, global change-maker, and founder of Women for Women International, Zainab Salbi, among other inspiring women.

We know you’ll be inspired hearing them share powerful stories and insights, while connecting through practices to help us create the change we want to see in the world . . . starting with ourselves.

For online participants, you will join in for the full day, engaging with other women across the country in real time. Audience members are invited to connect with one another in breakout groups and now, using emerging technology, the online audience can join in every activity. Whether at home or with a group of friends, you can be actively engaged in the full day of events.

“Clearly recognizing what is happening inside us, and regarding what we see with an open, kind, and loving heart, is what I call Radical Acceptance.” —Tara Brach

Inspiring teacher and best-selling author of Radical Acceptance, Tara explores how we can connect with our deepest wisdom and compassion, even in the face of conflict and challenge. Through meditation, guided exercises, and discussions, participants learn how to recognize and release the fears, judgments, and limiting beliefs that prevent us from living and loving fully.

Tara Brach, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, internationally known meditation teacher, and author of the best-selling books Radical Acceptance and True Refuge. She is founder of and senior teacher at the Insight Meditation Community of Washington DC, and teaches meditation workshops and retreats throughout the United States and Europe. Read an excerpt from Radical Acceptance in LifeNotes.

“As long as we are conflicted within, we will continue to live in conflict without.” —Zainab Salbi.

After years of working as a successful CEO and change-maker, Salbi realized that if she wanted to confront and heal the shadows of the world, she needed to face her own shadows first — and this could only be done by looking within. Through personal anecdotes, real-life stories, parables, and insightful guidance, Salbi will take us through a process of self-discovery.

Zainab Salbi is a humanitarian, author, entrepreneur, and media commentator who has dedicated herself to women’s rights and freedom. She is the founder and former CEO of Women for Women International — a grassroots organization dedicated to serving women survivors of war. She is the author of the best seller Between Two Worlds and, her newest, Freedom Is an Inside Job. Read an excerpt in LifeNotes.

“The more we are at ease, the more our energy flows . . . by releasing the body’s tension, we can move into a state of well-being and regeneration — that’s what it means to thrive.” —Amber Ryan

Amber will lead us in simple movement practices to connect us with the intuitive language of our bodies. By letting go of tensions and expectations we can come more fully into present-moment — where our wisdom lives.

Amber Ryan is an international 5Rhythms® facilitator who has been steeped in movement meditation for more than 18 years. With a strong background in dance, theatre, and freeing the natural voice, she takes participants on transformative 5Rhythms journeys using the power of music, sound, and movement. Focused on embodiment and energetics, Amber trained with 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth for 10 years and is on the annual staff for Omega at Blue Spirit.

“When I wake up in the morning and think about my day, I can choose how I’m going to show up in my life, how I’ll respond and react in different situations. That’s a level of power.” —Antoinette Klatzky

Antoinette will help us weave together learnings from the day. She will lead us through intimate group discussions and share practices we can use anytime, anywhere.

Antoinette Klatzky is the executive director and co-creator of the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute, which promotes leadership in young women through self-empowerment, connection with others and community activism.

  • Julie Houck, MA, ATR-BC Retired registered and board certified Art psychotherapist says:

So grateful to be a woman in this day and age and proud of the strong groups of women leading the charge for a gentler, more authentic world.

  • Vanessa Talley says:

As an African American woman who is interested in this grand work. I sometimes feel out of place (in all honesty). Nevertheless, I feel pulled by the universe to insert myself with all the peace, honor, compassion and love I have within me. I look forward to joining in and embracing such work with many other amazing women. The time is now!

  • Lois D. Robinson, Ed.D says:

    Eileen,
I’ve come to enjoy your fabrics and styles most recently and appreciate learning of your quest for organic responsible harvesting of fibers in your clothing line. As a career educator graduating from college in the 70’s, I am impressed with how your life’s work has evolved over the decades. You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you

  • Brenda Staley says:

So very exciting to be a woman at this time in American/world history. Empowerment is the key and realizing your worth and understanding how to be a better you is a necessary start! Thanks so much for your focus and dedication to this effort!

  • Denise Grossman says:

I think this is an incredible event! One that is needed to facilitate and empower women for the sake of our humanity, it is time that we change our world for the good of all.

    Rev. Denise

  • Dona Verschelden says:

This resonates…I am interested in learning more!

  • Joanne Jubert says:

Eileen you will always amaze me.
A young graphic designer late 70s,
early 80s (fashion) I’d heard of another
visual creative who didn’t like available
clothing so she created her own, you.
Years later I’m struck that though you’re
located next to Westchester Buddhist Center,
Eileen Fisher itself is a meditative force to be
reckoned with. Now even by way of the likes of
Tara Brach… God bless, God bless, God bless.
