Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Event
Our much anticipated Women’s Networking event is back!
We invite you to get your business cards ready and join us for an evening of drinks, snacks, and professional networking at the Eileen Fisher Learning Lab. Make new friends and potential business connections with other women in our community.
Eileen Fisher will speak about LifeWork and her mission to bring women together to help empower them in becoming more visible and effective leaders in our community. Antoinette Klatzky, the Director of the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute, will lead us in mindfulness practices.
Eileen Fisher, Founder and Chairwoman of EILEEN FISHER, INC., has been on a decades-long journey of awakening to her purpose, exploring the mind-body connection, and striving to live more consciously. Her commitment to lifelong learning and alignment with what truly matters have led her to create a unique company culture of collaboration and caring and to spearhead initiatives that empower others and create a better, more sustainable world.
In 2017, Parsons New School of Design honored Eileen at their annual gala for her work in sustainability, and she was selected to join the Steering Committee for New York State’s Inaugural Council on Women and Girls. Launched by Governor Andrew Cuomo, the committee was formed to ensure that government policies and programs protect women’s rights and equality advancement in the state. Eileen was presented the Force for Good Award by the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) in February 2016. She is a 2012 inductee into the Social Venture Network Hall of Fame.
Antoinette Klatzky is the Executive Director and co-creator of the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute (EFLI) a program designed to promote leadership in young women through self-empowerment, connection with others, and activism in their communities. Antoinette continues to facilitate the growth of EFLI and its umbrella organization, the Eileen Fisher Community Foundation. Through her work with the Foundation, Antoinette has also co-developed the Choose Handloom project, a Human Rights initiative around the EILEEN FISHER supply chain community in India, and helped to propel the first five years of what is now known as EILEEN FISHER Renew, the recycled clothing initiative. She continues to facilitate leadership programming and empowerment workshops for EFLI and Eileen Fisher’s new personal growth and development initiative, LifeWork.
